Kari Wuhrer was born April 28th, 1967. She is an American performer and singer. Wuhrer began her career as a teenager. She is recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders and also as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), a payroll accountant, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, a police officer and automobile salesman. She has been blessed with three brothers. When she was young She sang in nightclubs and slipped out to sing. At the Wooster school at the age of thirteen She began her studies in drama. After that, she studied at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London with the well-known teacher Uta Hagen, Wuhrer studied. Born on the 28th of April, 1967 in Brookfield, Connecticut. Her father is German American and an auto dealer as well as a police agent. Kari was born in the family that included four members. When she was in her teens her nightclub performances were a highlight by slipping away to take a break. Kari started acting in the Wooster School aged thirteen, and went further to pursue a degree in drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under renowned Uta Hagen. Kari was introduced to acting at 13 and got her big break in 1987 on MTV Remote Control.
