Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson is an American former actor. Elson began her career on the television industry as a model for children as well as actress. Her most well-known character is Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson in CBS the science-fiction series. Andrea auditioned to play the lead in ALF, the 1986 hit show. The show won her. She worked on many hit TV shows and also Movies of the Weekly for several more seasons before she resigned from the world of entertainment to focus on her family. Andrea Elson was playing Lynn Tanner her teenager daughter Kate and Willie during a time in which she went through a difficult time. People published an article which Elson described how difficult becoming a young girl and perform on the sitcom. Elson, who was green eyed New York City native grew as a traveler because of the job in advertising that her father had. For the 10 years prior to her tenth birthday, she lived in New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea was able to find an agent who was based in San Diego and won her audition for her first part. Fusco supported the show's premise, by saying "ALF is 285 years old, he can drink beer he's old enough. As ALF's popularity grew with youngsters, NBC informed Fusco that it was not allowed to drink alcohol since the kids were watching. It was a bad instance. Fusco maintained that he believed ALF to be an adult and that he could handle the alcohol. The first time he was diagnosed with lymphoma was in the year 1995. The treatment was successful and was in complete remission throughout 2019. On June 26, 2019 at age 75, he died of the illness at the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood New Jersey.
