Sara Lynn Evans (born February 5th in 1971) was the eldest of seven children raised by her parents at their farms located in New Franklin Missouri. Music was always a aspect of her life, and at the age of five she was singing every weekend in her family's group. At the age of 16, she started performing in the nightclub in Columbia Missouri a gig that lasted 2 years. The goal of Sara was to become a country musician. That's why, in 1991, Sara moved from Kansas City, Missouri to Nashville Tennessee. Sara performed a sample performance of Tiger By the Tail, one of Harlan Howard's hits during the recording session at County Q Studios. Harlan Howard determined that Sara could perform his songs. The singer signed a deal with RCA. Evans' first record Three Chords and the Truth came out in 1997. The album was praised by critics for the return to country music and recognized it on many of their top 10 of the year lists. It was not able to get a lot of attention from country radio that time, and no one of its three tracks entered the list of top 40. Lorraine Bracco.....................
